What is our return policy?
At Playseat®, we want to make returns as clear and fair as possible.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. In addition to this legal right, Playseat® offers a voluntary 30-day return period for most products, provided the conditions below are met.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights if a product is defective, damaged, incomplete, or not in conformity with the agreement.
Right of withdrawal for EU consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receive the product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period has expired. The easiest way to do this is by submitting a return request through our contact form.
Please select the most relevant contact reason and include your order number, the product you would like to return, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
After informing us of your withdrawal, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
Refunds for withdrawal
If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund the product price and the standard delivery costs paid for the original shipment, where applicable.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you have provided proof that the product has been returned, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective, damaged, incomplete, or incorrectly delivered.
Playseat® 30-day return period
In addition to the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, Playseat® offers a voluntary 30-day return period for most products.
To request a return, please submit a request through our contact form within 30 days of receiving your order.
Our team will provide return instructions and confirm how the product should be returned. Please do not send products back without contacting us first, as this may delay the handling of your return.
To be eligible for a voluntary return after the statutory withdrawal period, the product must be:
Unused and undamaged
Returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible
Complete with all original parts, accessories, manuals, and documentation
Properly packaged to prevent damage during transport
Return shipping costs
For non-defective products, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Because many Playseat® products are large or heavy, return shipping costs may vary depending on the product, package size, carrier, and destination.
Upon request, Playseat® may be able to assist by arranging or suggesting a suitable return shipping method. Any applicable return shipping costs will be communicated before the return is arranged.
Large or heavy products
Some Playseat® products are large, heavy, or shipped in multiple boxes. These products may require special handling or a suitable carrier for return shipping.
Please always contact our customer service team through our contact form before returning large or heavy products. This helps us provide the correct return instructions and reduce the risk of damage during transport.
If a large or heavy product is returned because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Condition of returned products
You may inspect a product as you would reasonably be allowed to do in a physical store.
If a returned product has been used more than necessary to inspect it, is damaged, incomplete, missing parts or accessories, or is not returned in suitable packaging, Playseat® may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect the reduction in value.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Damaged, defective, or incomplete products
Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.
If your product arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or if you received the wrong item, please submit a request through our contact form as soon as possible.
If the issue is confirmed, Playseat® will provide an appropriate solution, such as replacement parts, repair assistance, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation and your statutory rights.
For damaged deliveries, please also keep the original packaging where possible, as this may be required for carrier investigation.
Replacement parts and repair solutions
In some cases, a full return may not be necessary. If a product can reasonably be restored by providing a replacement part or technical assistance, Playseat® may offer this as a solution.
This helps resolve issues faster and avoids unnecessary return shipping, especially for large or heavy products.
Failed delivery, refused delivery, or uncollected packages
If a package is returned to Playseat® because it was not collected, refused without valid reason, or could not be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer, additional shipping or return costs may be deducted from the refund or charged before reshipment.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal and voluntary return period may not apply to:
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalized
Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken, where applicable
Products that are damaged due to misuse, improper assembly, or normal wear and tear
Warranty
After the return period has expired, your product may still be covered by statutory warranty rights and/or the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
